How long do pellets last?
Most patients need new pellets every 3–6 months, depending on factors like metabolism, activity level, and hormone needs.
Do I have blood work done before each treatment?
Not every time. We start with baseline labs, check again about 5 weeks after your first insertion, then as needed and at least annually to ensure your therapy stays safe and effective.
Does it matter if I’m on birth control?
No. Pellet therapy can be used alongside any form of birth control. You won’t need to change contraception to begin treatment.
Are there side effects to hormone replacement?
